Good Kemba Daniel, you got the right answers for the velocity. Try to present your work in a clear and concise manner for easy understanding and use a diagram every time

To determine the velocity of a pellet, a piece of plastine 50g is balanced at the edge of a table such that it fails to fall off. A pellet of mass 10g is fired horizontally into the plastine  and remains embedded in it. As a result the plastine reaches the floorat a horizontal distance of 0.25.

1.whats the horizontal velocity of the plastine given that the table surface is 0.6m high

2.what's the velocity of the pellet just before it hits the plastine.

3.whats the Velocity of plastine just before impact with the floor at a horizontal distance of 0.25

4.describe energy changes of the plastine.
