Please, I have a worry on question 14. I think the correct option might be C instead of B.
When i study the subject i will be able to explain in for that day but after two days it will seems i did nothing then
When u read a topic try answering past questions to see if u have really understood
What is respiration?
This is the breakdown of food in the presence or absence of oxygen to produce energy needed for the metabolive activities of the body
A good respiratory surface should be moist inorder for respiratory gases to dissolve in it
It should be highly vascularised so that the respiratory gases should be distributed all round the body
It should have a thin membrane to reduce the diffusion distance . This is because rate of diffusion is invesely propôrtional to distance
a)State the characteristics of a respiratory surface
They must be moist to absorb gases
Should be moist to permit easy absorption of games Should be thinking to reduce the distanice for diffusion of gases It should be highly vascularized
It should possess a large surface area so that sufficient amount of gases can be exchanged
